As winner of the Amber Capital Scholarship from The Opera Foundation, Ms. Hauge spent two seasons with Deutsche Oper Berlin in a variety of roles including Mercédès in Carmen, Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte, Flora Bervoix in La Traviata and Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor. Ms. Hauge made her debut with the company as Roßweiße in Die Walküre under the baton of Donald Runnicles.

The season marked another important debut for Ms. Hauge at Teatro Regio Torino as Clotilde in Norma under the baton of Michele Mariotti. At the conclusion of this first season Ms. Hauge was invited for a second season at Deutsche Oper Berlin where she added the roles of Linetta in L’amour des Trois Oranges, Blumenmädchen in Parsifal and Lison in Jeanne d’Arc to her repertoire. This season also featured Ms. Hauge in the world premiere of Lin Wang’s opera, Oh, wie schön ist Panama, where she created the leading role of the Kuh/Igel/Maus II/Erzähler.

Recent engagements include her Portland Opera debut in Frida, The Fox in The Cunning Little Vixen with Opera Theater Oregon and a return to Deutsche Oper Berlin for Waltraute in Die Walküre under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle, in addition to performances as Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte and Flora in La Traviata. This season also marked her house debut with Oper Leipzig in the world premiere of The Canterville Ghost and her role debut of Suzuki in Madama Butterfly with Deutsche Oper Berlin

Ms. Hauge is an alumna of the Boston University Opera Institute where she appeared in a variety of repertoire including the title role in the Boston première of William Bolcom’s Lucrezia, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Stéphano in Romeo et Juliette and Mrs. McLean in Susannah. Ms. Hauge sang the role of Erika in the Boston University Orchestra’s concert performance of Barber’s Vanessa with Lauren Flanigan in the title role, a performance for which The Boston Globe praised Ms. Hauge's, "...vulnerability and passion." Ms. Hauge made her Boston Symphony Hall solo debut performing Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Ann Howard Jones. Ms. Hauge has appeared as a young artist with Boston Lyric Opera, Tanglewood Music Center, Chautauqua Opera, PortOpera and Connecticut Opera. Ms. Hauge has won prizes in the Connecticut Opera Guild Competition and the Opera Theater of Connecticut Competition, in addition to being a finalist in the Fritz and Lavinia Jensen Foundation Competition and the Boston University Soloists' Competition.
